GETTING FROM HOUSTON AIRPORTS TO GALVESTON

DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM HOUSTON HOBBY AIRPORT TO GALVESTON
Travel time is about 45 minutes, dependent on traffic.

When exiting the airport, turn right and follow the I-45 South signs. Take I-45 South directly into Galveston.

In Galveston, take the 61st Street exit. Travel the feeder road for a short distance to the light and turn right onto 61st Street. Continue on 61st to Seawall Blvd. Turn left onto Seawall and go about 9 blocks. The Hilton, San Luis Resort, and Holiday Inn on the Beach will be on your left.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM HOUSTON GEORGE BUSH INTERCONTINENTAL AIRPORT TO GALVESTON
Travel time is about 1 hour and15 minutes, dependent on traffic.

Exit the airport onto John F. Kennedy Blvd for about three miles. Merge onto North Sam Houston Pkwy E (also known as Sam Houston Tollway E or Texas 8 Beltway E) via the ramp on the left to US-59. Take the exit onto US-59 S toward Houston.

Follow US-59 E for approximately 14 miles and then exit onto I-45 South to Galveston. Take I-45 South directly into Galveston.

In Galveston, take the 61st Street exit. Travel the feeder road for a short distance to the light and turn right onto 61st Street. Continue on 61st to Seawall Blvd. Turn left onto Seawall and go about 9 blocks. The Hilton, San Luis Resort, and Holiday Inn on the Beach will be on your left.

DIRECTIONS FROM HOTELS TO THE LAB

Turn left onto Seawall Blvd and go to 45th Street, which will be the first light you come to.

Turn left onto 45th. Go two blocks to the first stop sign and turn left onto Avenue U. The lab is about 3 blocks down on the left side of the street and surrounded by a chain link fence.

The address is 4700 Avenue U and the entrance is clearly marked.
When you enter the property the Administrative Office will be on your right (Building 306). The MSIT workshop will be held nearby in Bldg 305 Conference Room.

A sign on the door will indicate the AMSEA MSIT location.
