AMSEA is offering a FREE Fishing Vessel Drill Conductor and Fishermen's First Aid and Safety Training (FFAST) course in Astoria, Oregon for commercial fishermen, made possible by support from NIOSH, the U.S. Coast Guard, Oregon Sea Grant, and AMSEA members. Lunch and snacks will be provided, and the course will cover essential safety topics to improve on-the-water preparedness and response.

This course meets the US Coast Guard training requirements for drill conductors on commercial fishing vessels, 46 CFR 28.270(c).
