AMSEA will be in Seattle, at Pacific Marine Expo (PME) in booth 4118, November 18 - 20, 2021. Be sure to stop by our booth to learn about upcoming training opportunities, the latest in safety technology, and best practices.

If you aren't familiar, PME is the commercial fishing industry's biggest West Coast trade show. Representatives from U.S. and international companies and from every sector of the industry will be showing off their wares. In addition, there are presentations on industry issues, like offshore wind farms, career development, resource protection, and marine safety. Be sure to check out the Event Schedule, so you don't miss out.

Jerry Dzugan, AMSEA Executive Director, will participate in a panel discussion titled, After the Scandies Rose: A Discussion on Stability, Safety & Survival. The discussion will cover lessons learned from the Scandies Rose and Destination sinkings and how the industry is moving forward with updated rules and regulations pertaining to vessel stability, safety training and gear.

The other panelists are naval architect and President & Managing Principal of Hockema Group, John Myers and Scott Wilwert, Commercial Fishing Vessel Safety Program Manager, U.S. Coast Guard, District 17. Join them for an insightful discussion on Thursday, November, 18, 1:50 PM - 2:35 PM at the Main Stage.

Pacific Marine Expo takes place in the West and East Halls at Lumen Field Event Center, 800 Occidental Ave S. Per Lumen Field policy, PME will be requiring attendees and exhibitors to provide proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of attendance.
